Corrections and updates

Email editor@travelaustralia.com.au with the page URL, the exact statement that may be wrong, and a reliable source showing the current information. For a business detail, include the business name and your relationship to it. Evidence-based corrections are considered regardless of whether a business advertises or participates in an affiliate programme.

General and commercial enquiries

For accessibility feedback, licensing, partnerships or general questions, email hello@travelaustralia.com.au. Clearly label a commercial proposal. Sending an invitation, free product or offer does not guarantee coverage, and any material support connected to published content must be disclosed.

Before asking for trip advice

The live planning hub covers routes, seasons, transport and booking priorities. Official visa decisions come only from the Australian Department of Home Affairs. For emergencies in Australia call 000; for active weather, fire, flood and park closures use the relevant state emergency and parks services.

What happens after a correction report

The editorial review checks the cited page, the date of the claim and the most authoritative available source. A business’s own current terms are useful for its prices and operations; government or park sources take priority for laws, closures and public safety. If the claim is confirmed, the page is corrected according to the editorial policy. Sending evidence does not create a right to preview or approve unrelated coverage.

Accessibility reports

When reporting a barrier on this website, include the page, device, browser and what you were trying to do. Screenshots are useful when they do not contain personal data. For a venue or tour, distinguish confirmed access information from a request that Travel Australia investigate it. The publication cannot guarantee a third party’s facilities, but clear evidence can improve the guide.

Requests from businesses

Businesses may supply corrected contact details, accessibility information and current official terms. Please do not send pre-written promotional articles or demand followed links. Inclusion, wording and search visibility remain editorial decisions. A request to remove a truthful consumer-relevant limitation should explain the factual issue and provide evidence, not rely on the existence of a commercial relationship.

Response scope

Messages are prioritised by potential reader harm: safety, closures, mistaken identity and significant price or access errors come first. General trip-planning questions may be answered by linking to an existing guide rather than providing a personal itinerary. Travel Australia does not make bookings, change reservations or intervene in a dispute between a traveller and provider.

Privacy

Do not email passport numbers, payment-card details, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information. Messages are used to respond to the enquiry and maintain an appropriate editorial record. See the privacy policy for more information.
