Coral Bay
Coral Bay marks the southern gateway to the Ningaloo Marine Park. All levels of accommodation from camping, caravanning and backpacker facilities up to self-contained units and motel accommodation are available within walking distance of the clean white beaches.
Children are able to swim safely and experience the wonder of swimming among tropical fish over the coral gardens of the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore while the more adventurous can participate in snorkelling or scuba diving cruises to the outer reef. Two separate coral viewing vessels enable visitors to cruise over the reef in comfort and gain a fish-eye view of the underwater world of the Ningaloo Reef.
South of Coral Bay is Warroora Station, an outback sheep station that fronts on to the Ningaloo Reef coastline and offers accommodation and activities for visitors. Coral Bay is also home to many turtles, dugong, dolphins, manta rays, humpback whales and the mighty whale sharks. Both beach and boat fishing are popular pastimes as well.
