PORT MacDONNELL
Port MacDonnell's seaside serenity really does say it all. This picturesque township, once a busy port, is now the home of a thriving lobster fishing industry and an ideal location to spend some time unwinding from the hectic pace of life in the nineties.
NELSON
To the east of Port Mac lies the border town of Nelson, located on the mouth of the Glenelg River. Surrounded by the Lower Glenelg National Park. This is an excellent starting point for those who wish to enjoy the flora and fauna of the area. Excellent fishing in the river makes Nelson an ideal location to spend some time. Summer activities organised by the National Parks, motel and caravan park accommodation and boat hire facilities attract many visitors to the area.
PENOLA
Centrally located in the region, Penola is the South East's oldest town. Penola's heritage has largely been maintained and is evident everywhere, making the town a delight for the heritage-minded visitor.
LUCINDALE
Lucindale, situated midway between Naracoorte and Kingston is a small community of four hundred people. Parks teeming with birdlife and unique wildflowers can be found throughout the Lucindale area.
TATIARA DISTRICT
The Tatiara District is adjacent to the Victorian border and is strategically located on the main Adelaide-Melbourne Highway and midway between the Riverland and the coastal towns of the lower South East. This area includes the towns of Bordertown, Keith, Mundulla, Padthaway, Wolseley and Willallooka.
