Coolangatta and Rainbow Bay
Coolangatta and Rainbow Bay, situated at the southern end of the Gold Coast on the border of Queensland and New South Wales, are the perfect holiday destination. To the north, a short 20 minutes drive away, are the bright lights of the Gold Coast and it's many attractions and to the south, you'll find the magnificent Tweed region, home to three World Heritage National Parks complete with uncrowded beaches, quaint villages and lush rainforests.

Rainbow Bay, located just to the east of Coolangatta, features beautiful, safe Rainbow Bay Beach which is patrolled during peak times and is ideal for surfers, swimmers or for a great, family day out. The lookout at Point Danger is a must for the visitor and offers spectacular views of the northern and southern coastline. Flagstaff Beach is another feature of the region.
