Coolangatta and Rainbow Bay Coolangatta and Rainbow Bay, situated at the southern end of the Gold Coast on the border of Queensland and New South Wales, are the perfect holiday destination. The lookout at Point Danger is a must for the visitor and offers spectacular views of the northern and southern coastline. Flagstaff Beach is another feature of the region.
