Further afield the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast and Bribie Island await you. Visit the Caboolture Historical Village - a working village modelled on the area in the 1860s. Pine Rivers is famous for the North Pine Country Markets that attract hoards of locals and visitors alike to sample the locally-made arts and crafts. The area also boasts some excellent wildlife attractions including Lyell Deer Farm, The Australian Woolshed and Alma Park Zoo.

Seafood delicacies - Redcliffe is Queensland's oldest European settlement. Enjoy watersports on the beaches and the sheltered waters of Moreton Bay. Visit the Scarborough Boat Harbour on a Sunday morning where thousands of people flock to buy fresh seafood and enjoy the delicacies of the Bay area.

To the south of Brisbane, are found the farming plains of Beaudesert and the mountain ridges of the MacPherson Ranges. The lush mountains and rainforest of the Lamington National Park offer many walking tracks to explore and provide a stunning backdrop for the white sandy beaches of the Gold Coast.
