Cambewarra, Kangaroo Valley, Berry
Cambewarra sits at the base of Cambewarra Mountain and is translated from aboriginal words meaning Mountain of Fire, possibly refering to the Coachwood and Illawarra Flame trees on the mountain which, when in bloom, are a brilliant red. The town features a museum and spectacular mountain view lookout.
Kangaroo Valley is nestled between Cambewarra and Barrengarry Mountains. For the convenience of visitors there are service stations, a hotel and interesting shops as well as a swimming pool which is located in the Kangaroo Valley Showground. Other attractions include various craft shops and galleries, Sharply Vale Fruit World and Tallowa Dam.
Jaspers Brush is on the Princes Highway between Nowra and Berry and features a strawberry farm and winery. Berry, which is the first Shoalhaven town on the Princes Highway from the north, offers visitors shopping facilities and various buildings with National Trust Classification. Other features include a country fair and flea markets.
