Durras North, Bawley Point, Tabourie Lake
Durras North and Depot Beach are small towns, popular for family holidays, situated on the northern side of Durras Lake. Pebbly Beach located in a rustic bushland setting is home to kangaroos that laze about and enjoy the sun and surf. Take advantage of the bushwalks, swimming and surfing in the area as well. Termeil is a small township on the Princes Highway 20 kms south of Ulladulla where rock and beach fishing trips can be arranged locally.
Bawley Point was first settled in 1828 at which time timber was the main industry. Today this popular holiday destination offers wildflowers, a gallery and the unique Protea Grove. Kioloa, Merry Beach and Pretty Beach are all small towns situated at the northern end of the Murramarang National Park. The Park is a coastal strip with prolific bird and animal life as well as rock pools, beaches and picnic areas. Tabourie Lake is a haven for native birds and is suitable for flat-bottom non-motorised boats. There are excellent beaches and various accommodation is available. A feature of the area is the Lake Tabourie Museum which offers a wide range of items including rocks, fossils and historical artefacts
