Cobargo

CobargoCobargo is the perfect village to visit when staying anywhere on the Sapphire Coast. The township of Cobargo was established in the late 1860s and is rich in history. Today, Cobargo consists of unique craft shops, galleries, eateries and unusual artifacts housed in some very old majestic buildings. Enjoy the Country Market on the third Saturday of every month and see Cobargo, the working village, transformed for its traditional demonstration craft day in September.

Other features of the town include Bangles Gallery, renowned for its enormous range of Australian made pottery, Working Wood, South Coast Leather and the Simply Cobargo Tea Rooms and Restaurant which offer superb lunches, gourmet sandwiches, teas and arts and crafts.
