Welcome to the Eurobodalla Region

Welcome to the Eurobodalla RegionThe Eurobodalla Coast, where the lush greens of the south east forest meet the rolling blue thunder of the Pacific Ocean. Romantic beaches are flanked by rugged headlands, rockpools teem with life and the backdrop is the spectacular escarpment of the Great Dividing Range.

There are more than sixty named beaches from private inlets to thundering surfer's domains. Main beaches are patrolled in peak season and in all conditions, safe swimming is not far away. In the estuaries, lakes and rivers abound, shimmering in the morning light. Secluded havens for exploring in safe and beautiful surrounds. The fishing is world class and there are plenty on safe launching ramps up and down the coast.

More than just beaches, however, Eurobodalla boasts five National Parks and hectares of State Forest. Cascading rock orchids, gurgling creeks and rainforest gullies are set amidst the awesome power of the magnificent south east forest. Numerous tourist drives provide easy access to this natural wonderland.

The Eurobodalla Coast offers kangaroos on the beach, wombats, fur seals and, in spring, the breathtaking sight of mighty whales migrating south with their young. There's also the unique opportunity to see a Siberian tiger at Mogo Zoo or watch the little penguins on their evening march.

With unique art galleries, historic villages crammed with arts, crafts and provincial fare as well as the picturesque village stores filled with local wares, the Eurobodalla Coast clearly has something for everyone. Indigenous art is a specialty and numerous galleries nestled in the hills feature world class painting, calligraphy, sculpture and much more.
