The Wentworth Falls Autumn Festival is a highlight of the Village's community celebrations. Held every year in April, many private gardens are open for the festival and the autumn leaves are at their most colourful. The local community is alive with market days and exhibitions. It's a time for the community and the visitor to get together. The festival also features a Jazz Concert, Village Fair, Floral Art Show, plays, historical walks, art exhibitions and much more.
Wentworth Falls Village sits on top of the escarpment at the edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. The spectacular Wentworth Falls Waterfall is a highlight of any visit to the area. It is a mixture of cascades and free-falling water that, during windier times, blows sprays of water into the valley beyond. Sunset over the Valley is not to be missed. The escarpments burn gold and red along with the setting sun. Extensive, well-maintained bushwalks of various degrees of difficulty and lengths follow the escarpments and some even drop into the valley floor below.
