Summer in the Blue Mountains
Escape to a wonderland of warm, balmy days with cool, summer nights. Picnic beside our beautiful waterfalls, stroll through lush fern gullies and discover the romance of a Blue Mountains summer.
Summer in the Blue Mountains spells outdoor activities in abundance, offering countless opportunities to keep cool and have fun. The National Parks and Wildlife Service offer a highly successful series of guided walks to suit anyone from the most casual stroller to the dedicated hiker. There are six fine golf courses in the Mountains and it's easy to get a game on any of them.
Throughout the summer the fresh, pollution-free air, 1,000 metres above sea level, is the ideal atmosphere in which to enjoy all of these activities or just relax.
