Winter in the Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains come alive with Yulefest celebrations from June to August. A winter festive tradition of fine food and entertainment in a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Many of our visitors who remember a Northern Hemisphere Christmas return each year to enjoy the Mountain hospitality of Yulefest.
Establishments around the Blue Mountains celebrate with turkey, ham, puddings, mulled wine, roaring log fires, decorations, carol singing and sometimes even a visit from Santa.
A winter holiday in the Mountains can combine all the things for which the area is famous - crisp, mountain air, clear starry nights, breathtaking views, picturesque bushwalks and antique shops full of charm and nostalgia. And if you're lucky you might even find snow.
