Things To Do

Trade Winds is located on the easterly side of the island on the rich fertile plateau of Steeles Point. It is an easy drive of 5 kms from the shopping centre and even less to the swimming beaches, historic Kingston Area, and golf course. Jacob Christian House is a traditional island style home which has been painstakingly restored to offer ultimate comfort for 6 adults (can sleep up to 8). Cottages sleep two couples or family with children (total 5 persons). The cottages are all named in honour of our Pitcairn descendants: Samuel McCoy, Phoebe Adams, Dinah Quintal and Betsy Young. All set in 4 acres of tropical garden and lawns. A variety of fruit trees are there for guests to taste the delights of tree or vine ripened fresh fruit. Norfolk Island provides extensive tours and dining opportunities ... try a fish fry or progressive dinner or spend a night as a convict, or sample the many restaurants ... go canoeing , fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, golfing, bowling, archery, pistol shooting, hiking, bird watching and more.
