These are THE most spacious, luxury cottages on Norfolk Island
A beautiful hideaway, a real executive escape that is secluded and private. Overlook the grazing cows in the nearby farm or across to mountain or ocean ... a perfect setting for that relaxing predinner drink on your verandah.
Beds are all king size; every bedroom has its own bathroom and verandah access, beach towels, hair dryers, ceiling fans and electric blankets.
Multi channel satellite TV, video/DVD, selection of Dvds, mobile phone, gas heating, full size kitchen and laundry, wheelchair access/ramps are standard in all cottages and the house. Each cottage and the house has full length verandahs with BBQ or guests may utilise the larger entertainment BBQ area.
Trade Winds is part of our property and was established in 2001 and continues to be operated by owner Robyn Tavener.
The property was the original land grant of Pitcairn Islanders Jacob Christian and Samuel McCoy. This rich farmland has been farmed since these beginnings in 1856 and for the past 50 years by the Tavener family.
The property has many plantings of citrus, bananas, peaches, plums, nectarines, passionfruit, pawpaw with other seasonal vegetables as available. All fruits and crops are organically grown. We provide many fruits for guest enjoyment as these are difficult to purchase on Norfolk.
