The Black Dolphin Motel is centrally located to all of Merimbula's attractions including whale and dolphin watching cruises, fishing charters, Magic Mountain Family Recreation Park, Top Fun Amusement Centre, Merimbula Aquarium, social clubs, boutique shops and restaurants. With 5 golf courses located all within a 30 minutes drive. Merimbula also offers a range of water sports such as guided snorkelling safaris, scuba dives, canoeing tours, surfing with learn to surf lessons available, body boarding or simply swimming. For those interested in the arts and crafts there is Bilyara Gallery, Board Walk Art and a country market every Sunday.

Travel Directions

Transportation to Merimbula is offered daily by bus companies such as Greyhound, V Line and CountryLink, by air through Regional Express Airlines (REX) or via car. Merimbula also has a taxi service operating in the local and surrounding areas. The Black Dolphin Motel is located from the South (Eden) 2km passed the airport on the right next to the 'United' service station. Or travelling from the north (Bega), right at the T intersection (where Merimbula Drive meets Market Street) across the bridge and to the right where you will find us next door to the 'United' service station on your left.
