Children and Extra Guests Details

All rates are based on 2 people sharing one room. Additional adults: $70.00 per person, per night plus breakfast costs. Children under 12 years sharing adult's room stay free of charge. Maximum one (1) adult and two (2) children, or two (2) adults and one (1) child. Roll away bed charge: $80.00 per night per adult only. For children under 12 years a roll away is complimentary. Cots are also complimentary. Maximum number of people per room is three (3) adults, or two (2) adults and one (1) child under 12 years sharing and must be requested prior to arrival. Additional charges may apply as indicated.

Stroll through the gardens, and along Lilianfels Avenue, and in moments the 3 Sisters loom like ancient beacons in front of you. Scenic Railway & Historic Steam Train: The Scenic Railway is the steepest incline railway in the world. It was originally part of the Katoomba mining tramways. The railway descends through sandstone cliffs, through a rock tunnel and emerges to a magnificent view of the lush rainforest.15 minutes walk from Lilianfels Blue Mountains, our concierge can advise directions. Sceniscender: The Sceniscender is a stunning gondola ride 1,100 feet across and 960 feet above the Jamison Valley. The Sceniscender is only a short 5 minute walk from Lilianfels, giving you the opportunity to visit at your leisure. The skyway gives unsurpassed views of the Jamison Valley and is the only horizontal gondola ride in Australia. Jenolan Caves: One and a quarter hour's drive west from Lilianfels Blue Mountains are the Jenolan Caves.

Travel Directions

By car: Follow the M4 Motorway west from Sydney. The motorway becomes the Great Western Highway at Lapstone. Follow the highway through the mountains, and make a left turn (when you reach Katoobma) at the second set of traffic lights. Follow the signs to Echo Point (three minutes' drive from the highway). By train: Trains from Central to the Blue Mountains leave at least once an hour. Depart the train at Katoomba, where taxis are waiting to bring you to Lilianfels Blue Mountains (three minutes' journey by taxi).
