Located within 15 minutes walk of the centre of Fremantle and 5 minutes walk to George Street offering restaurants and cafes, a laundromat, hair dressing salon, wine/gift shop, and small general store. (The apartment has no washing machine, but has a large drying rack and there is a rotary clothes hoist in the grounds). A larger supermarket, Dewsons is 3 minutes away by car.

The Fremantle Arts Centre is a 5 minutes downhill walk. Five minutes walk either way takes you to two arterial routes to both Perth and Fremantle. A variety of white sandy beaches are 7 minutes away by car. Nearby is a municipal swimming pool.
