Derwent Retreat is self contained and fully furnished. The property sleeps six people and all rooms have majestic views of the river and Mt Wellington. It has a master bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite with shower and toilet. A second bedroom with a double bed and bedroom with two single beds are served by a second bathroom and separate toilet.
The property has a modern fully equipped kitchen with microwave, hotplates, stove and fridge. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. On the balcony there is a gas barbecue and second dining table and chairs. All linen and crockery are provided and there is a TV, stereo etc. central heating or wood stove for warmth, a local call only telephone, broadband wireless internet for business and a large garden.
The property is an ideal Hobart base for business or pleasure as it is close to major business and tourist attractions. Public transport is easily accessed and a major shopping village is 1 km away.

All rooms have majestic views of the river and Mt Wellington. Check In and Out Check In is after 2:00 pm. Please phone the managers residence as you are getting close and they will come out and meet you, guide you in, show you around and provide any other assistance or advice required. For directions click here. Check Out is before 10am. If you prefer a later check out you must call the owner and we will do our best to accommodate you with no guarantee that we can. All doors and windows must be closed and locked, heating/cooling turned off and keys returned to whom you got them from unless otherwise arranged with the owner or letting agent. You agree that we can charge your credit card a $50 dollar fee if keys are not returned. Should you find you have accidently taken them please contact us straight away. Conditions Young mobile children or others that require supervision must be supervised by an adult. Our properties are not designed for wheel chairs. Pets are not allowed inside at any of our properties. Smoking inside is prohibited. If evidence of cigarette smoke is discovered inside, the guest will be evicted without refund or recourse and a cleaning charge of $250 applied. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be by email with read receipt, by telephone or in person during business hours. No refund is available for the base rate. The balance may be refundable depending on how close to the booked date cancellation accompanied by application for refund is made. Charges we have incurred are not refundable. Our Policy on Pets Although we have provided a large 3 metre by 2 meter cage for them we would prefer not to have pets. If you cannot travel without your pet and are prepared to pay us a bond guaranteeing that your animals will not be allowed inside Derwent Retreat then we may at our discretion allow them. | |||
